As an avid advocate for lifelong learning and educational empowerment, I am dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. With a passion for education that transcends traditional boundaries, I am continually striving to inspire and empower students of all backgrounds to unlock their full potential.

Beyond the classroom, I actively engage in professional development opportunities to remain in touch with the latest trends and best practices in education.

Through a diverse range of projects, lesson plans, and reflections, I invite you to explore my journey and philosophy as an educator, with the ultimate goal of inspiring positive change and transformation in the lives of learners everywhere.

A little bit about me.

I am enrolled at Slippery Rock University, studying Early Childhood and Special Education. I am currently student teaching at Seneca Valley School District in a Kindergarten Classroom. I just recently finished my special ed student teaching placement in a life skills classroom!

I am from Hopewell Township which is in Beaver County.

I was offered a tutoring position during a field placement last November and have tutored students from grades K-4th for a little over a year now.

I chose the field of education because my mother is a teacher and she has instilled in me a passion for learning. From a very young age, I had witnessed my mother be an advocate for all of her students and create a safe and welcoming environment where students and staff felt they could be themselves.

Teaching was something I had always had a passion for, I wanted to shape young minds into great thinkers and problem solvers. I also wanted to be an advocate for those students who did not have a voice or needed someone to lean on, I wanted to be the reason a student fell in love with education and all it had to offer.

My Philosophy

My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I will provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks. Becoming a teacher means that I will help mold future generations through the curriculum set and of personal wisdom.
